When I was young the RICH people lived on Longwood Dr. in big houses on "The Ridge". My grandparents owned a 1910 4 square and worked as educators - they were middle class and had everything they needed 2 blocks east of Longwood Dr. All of thier furniture was made of wood and not the overpriced Pottery Barn "fancy" particle board.
